また建物内部でも、各部屋を歪ませる事で、”スキマ”に広がりを持たせ内部に”ゆとり”を確保しようとしている。

今後、打ち合わせを続け、どのように進化するかタノシミ。。。

つくばのプロジェクトIKSが、1年半のウィティング期間を終え、再始動する。
時が流れるのは、早い。
店舗に住宅にゴルフレッスン場と、盛りだくさんだが、丁寧に整理していきたい。

NDAの内装も大詰めで、今日から鉄骨階段などの取り付けが始まった。
僕の現場にいつも入って頂いているスチールの業者さんで、僕がまだ現場の右も左も分からなかった頃
から付き合いである。
いつもそうだが、何度も現場で顔を会わせていても、その都度勉強させられる事がある。
今回の階段も、僕が良く作るタイプなのだが、いつもより大きいので、自重で沈むのを計算して、
少しムクリを入れてもらったりしている。
その辺になると感覚の世界だが、ずっと見ていても飽きない。
そして同じタイプであっても、毎回それなりに問題が起きたりして、それを乗り越えていく。
物造りは、だから楽しいんだと思う。

今日の午後、山手にある築100年以上の洋館リノベーションの打ち合わせ。
建物は、良く管理され、100年を生き抜いた力強さと趣がある。
僕達の仕事は、クリエイターとして大きな変化を出す事が仕事だと思われがちであるが、
必要がなければ大きな変化を出す必要性がない気もする。
つまり、良いものであれば、それを使える状態に戻してあげれば良くて、無理に新たなものにする必要性はない訳で。。。
そういうジャッジも設計者として大切な判断の一つだと思う。
クライアントがアメリカ在住なので、アメリカの蚤の市などで買い付けなどをお願いして、楽しい物造りになればいいな。

クライアントの要望と周囲の環境・関係を精査し、ブレないものを提案したい。
