今日は、波乗りに行きたいキモチを押さえ、友達とシンヨコフリーマーケットに出店。
といっても、僕はジウジとふらふらしているだけで、あまり活躍していないけど。
インターネットでポチするのが定着してしまったせいか、蚤の市・マルシェなんかは、異常にわくわくする。
お客さんと犬の話しをしたり、ぶらぶらして他のお店の人にちょっかいを出してみたり。

おまけに、昔働いていた事務所の後輩でサーファー夫婦のsuzuに「久しぶり〜」と声をかけられ、
website “Traveling The Word”の世界一周したご夫婦 じゅんさん・ももさんが僕らのブースに、
普通にいて、「あれ〜じゅんさん・ももさんですよね？」みたいな。。。

普段は、事務所にこもりがちな仕事なだけに、人と接すると脳みそがブルってする。
脳みその隙間をリフレッシュするって感じかな。。。

今、毎日NDAの現場に通っている。
細かい所が増えた事もあるが、今回試みている外壁の灰汁によるパッチワークの表情を修復する為である。
監督さんと職人さんの努力のお陰で、奇麗なパッチワークを打設することが出来たが、大事な時期に大雨が続き、
そこに雨垂れがついてしまった。

この雨垂れも監督さんが、毎回水洗いし最善をつくし最小限にしたが、それでも。
そこで、毎日のように色々な手を使い、修復作業を行っている。
それも手探り。
落胆したり、笑顔が出たりの繰り返し。

前例のない事にチャレンジする場合、終わってしまえば前例ができる訳だが、それまでは全てが手探り。
そういう場合、技術ではなく、人の気持ちしかない。
僕が救われるのは、クライアントの熱意である。
MYZもNDAも、クライアントの強い熱意が僕を支えてくれる。
そして、更に後押しするのは、現場監督の熱意である。

現場は、クライアントと監督と職人と設計者みんなで創られていく。
そういう現状に幸せを感じつつ、ギリギリの所まで最善を尽くし切りたい。

今日は、なんでこんなに暑いの？
秋の空は、高く抜けて、蒼くてキモチよい。

NDAの現場は、そろそろ追い込みの時期になってきた。
各業者さんが、入れ替わり立ち代わり入り、どんどん進んでいく。
そして着実に形になっていくのだが、嬉しいようで、少し寂しくなる。
進めば進む程寂しさは増すが、それが僕の仕事だから。。。
複雑だね。

今日は、MYZの撮影。
いつも撮ってもらっている写真家の鳥村さんに加え、構造家の秋元さんも仕上がりを見に来てくれた。
さて、眠い目をこすり、毎回の事だが撮影は時間との勝負。
太陽の傾きによって、常に移動を続ける。
結構、シンドイ。

設計者に唯一残るものと言えば、施主との思い出と竣工写真といったところだから、
仕上がりが楽しみである。
