no.555 architectural design

本日、NDAの上棟。
しかし、今年はコンクリート打設の立会いが多い。
立会いというか、むしろ僕はコンクリートをタタキ続ける。
設計者の仕事は施工確認をし、施工部隊に任せるものであるが、僕は実際にやりたいし、口出しもしたい。
施工のプロには到底かなわないが、それでも僕にしかわからない設計上のポイントというものがある。
構造上や見え方の部分とか。
口で説明するより、自分の手で確認するのが一番明快だし。

今日で、躯体工事は終わった訳だが、本当に皆さんご苦労様でした。
単なる躯体工事ではなかった事は、関わった皆さんにしか分からない事だし、
現場管督さんの情報処理量は大変なボリュームだったと思う。

ほんの少しだけ満足感に浸りたい。
汗で水分と塩分が抜けた体に、安ワインと塩っけの強いサラミが心地よく染み渡る。

今日は、茨城の波が良さそうだったんだが、前から行きたかったナマステ インディアに行く事にした。
いつかインドに行ってみたいので、少しでもインド人と触れ合ってみたいし、
屋外で食べるインドカレーも楽しみだし。

気候もちょうどイイ感じだったので、Kingfisher Beer を片手に代々木公園でぶらぶら・ごろごろ過ごす。

すごく珍しい、ちょー運動量の多いジャーマンショートヘアーを見かけ、ジウジを連れて来ていれば、
一緒に遊べたのにと、少し後悔。。。

ようやく横浜も台風が抜けたようだ。
それにしても長い時間、ものすごい量の雨が続き、突風が吹き荒れた。
救急車や警察のサイレンが、鳴り響き続けていたが、大きな被害ができるだけ少ない事を祈りたい。

山手で好きな建築の一つヤマテヨットクラブが、とうとう解体されている。
山手と言えば、クラシックな洋館建築であるが、ヨットクラブは現代建築。
当時、ある方のヨット仲間が集まるゲストハウスであった この建築は、
引きの取り方・内部に入ってからの広がり方、プライバシーの包み方などの空間性と、
2次部材を使わないディテールのストイックさに物としての魅力を感じていた。

確かにここ山手でこれだけの敷地と建築を維持する事は、時代的に大変な事だとは
思うが、オーナーが変わっても乗り越えて欲しい建築であった。

僕の設計ではないけど、ちょい悔しい気持ちになる。。。
